Why Shriyam exists

A family moves to the USA. The temple is an hour away, the priest there serves a different tradition, and the one who knew your grandfather's gotra is still in the town you left. So the festival passes with a lamp and an apology.

Shriyam is the narrow fix for that. Not a marketplace, not a subscription, not an app full of horoscopes — a way to have your pooja performed at your altar, guided by a purohit who speaks your language and follows your sampradaya.

What we believe

You perform it, not us

Some services perform a ritual in your name at a temple and send you a photograph. That is a different thing, and there is nothing wrong with it. Ours is the opposite: you are the yajamana, in your own home, and the purohit guides you.

The details are the point

Gotra, nakshatra, language, sampradaya. These are not form fields to us — they decide which purohit can accept your seva at all.

No pressure, ever

No countdowns, no “3 people are viewing this”, no discount popups. If you are deciding whether to perform a ritual for your family, being hurried is the last thing you need.

Shriyam is built by Sunray Inova LLC. Our purohits are in India, scrutinized before they are listed, and paid properly for their work.
