Plain language, because this should be readable by the person it is about. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will fix the wording.
Your seva recording
This is the most sensitive thing we hold, so it comes first. Your seva is recorded so that you can keep it.
- Who can see it: you, through the link on your seva page. The purohit who performed it. Our support staff, only when you ask us to look into something.
- Who cannot: anyone else. It is never public, never listed, never sold, never used in marketing, and never used to train any model.
- How long: 90 days, then it is deleted.
- Deleting it sooner: email [email protected] and we will destroy it. You do not have to give a reason.
What we collect
- Your sankalpa details — names, gotra, nakshatra, language, sampradaya. Used to perform your pooja and to match a purohit. Shared with that purohit alone.
- Contact details — email and phone, to send your confirmation, the samagri list, and the join link, and so your purohit can reach you on the day.
- Your timezone, read from your browser, so times are shown in your own clock rather than IST.
- Payment — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Who processes your data
Named, so you can judge for yourself:
- Stripe — payments
- Daily.co — the video call and recording
- Supabase — our database
- Resend — transactional email
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery
Your purohit is in India, so your sankalpa details and the recording are accessible there. That is inherent to the service.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your seva or its recording for advertising. We do not send marketing you did not ask for. There are no third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Your choices
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including the recording — at [email protected]. We will act on it. Some records of a completed payment must be retained for accounting.
Children
Shriyam is booked by adults. Children are of course present at a family pooja and may appear in the recording; the same protections above cover them, and the same deletion request works.
