Test · not a real seva
Shriyam

Terms

Short, and in the same plain language as the rest of the site. Booking a seva means you agree to these.

What we provide

A live, one-to-one video session in which a purohit guides your family through a pooja that you perform at your own altar, at the time you booked, in the language and sampradaya you chose. We provide the purohit, the room, the samagri list and a recording.

What we ask of you

  • Give accurate sankalpa details — the pooja is performed in those names.
  • Be ready at your slot. Your purohit has reserved that hour for you alone.
  • Do not record, re-broadcast or publish the purohit without their consent. Your own recording, which we provide, is yours.
  • Treat your purohit with the respect you would in a temple.

Payment

The price shown is what you pay, in US dollars, taken by Stripe at booking. Dakshina is separate, offered after the seva, and entirely optional.

Cancelling

Covered in full on refunds & rescheduling. That page governs; if anything here appears to contradict it, the refunds page and what you were shown at checkout win.

When we cannot deliver

If a purohit cannot attend, or our technology fails and the seva cannot be completed, you get a full refund or a rescheduled seva, your choice. Our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that seva.

A pooja is a religious observance. We take great care with who performs it and how, but we do not promise particular outcomes in your life, and we do not offer astrological, financial, medical or legal advice.

Your account

An account is optional — booking never requires one. Sign-in is by emailed link; there is no password to lose. Tell us if you think someone else has access to your email.

Changes

If we change these terms, the version that applies to your seva is the one published when you booked it.
